Frequently Asked Questions
Why can’t I find prices on the website?
A number of factors influence the price of a piece of furniture — not just its size. The primary components are the selected materials and accessories. We always strive to avoid low-quality, over-priced mass-market products, so that we can offer durable and long-lasting solutions. To be able to give an accurate quote, a personal consultation is essential. Every project is unique, and each piece of furniture must be measured and assessed individually before a price can be calculated.
What steps are involved in requesting an offer and placing an order?
In most cases, the process begins with an on-site measurement, which I personally carry out. During this visit, we go through your ideas, preferences and functional needs in detail. Based on this, I prepare a transparent, itemized quote.
After accepting the quote, I prepare the technical drawings and production documentation. Once you approve these, the physical construction of the furniture can begin.
If needed, we can schedule additional consultations later, but this is rarely required thanks to the careful planning and thorough preparation.
Please note that material prices can change significantly — especially when large quantities of wood or specialty materials are required.
How long does it take to complete the furniture?
This depends on several factors, but in general the manufacturing process starts immediately after finalizing the plans. Standard projects are typically completed within 2–3 weeks. For larger projects, production can take 2–3 days longer, or sometimes up to a month. Delivery and assembly also depend on scheduling and transport availability. Overall, you can expect your custom furniture to be fully completed within 4–5 weeks.
What materials can my custom furniture be made of?
There is an extremely wide selection available. You can choose from solid wood options (various hardwoods), laminated boards, veneered boards, painted MDF and many other finishes.
During our consultation, I help you select the optimal material based on durability, appearance and budget.
Is there a warranty on the furniture?
Yes! I provide a 3-month warranty for structural and functional issues. Aesthetic imperfections caused by external factors are not covered, but any craftsmanship-related issues will be corrected free of charge.
Do you also offer refurbishment or restoration of old furniture?
Absolutely. I am happy to take on the renovation of older furniture as well — whether it involves complete re-building, surface treatment or repainting. When possible, I also offer advice on how a particular piece can be upgraded or reimagined.
Can you help with assembling furniture purchased from a store?
Yes, of course! I am happy to assist with assembling store-bought furniture at a favourable price, depending on the size and complexity of the item.
Can water, electricity or lighting be routed into the furniture?
(NOTE: Built-in electrical components must be installed by a certified electrician.)
Will I receive an invoice for the completed work?
Naturally — I provide an invoice for every project, and all work is carried out in full compliance with legal requirements.
Is it possible to view previous projects in person?
In most cases, I create furniture for private individuals, so these pieces are not accessible to the general public and can only be viewed in the photos I upload with the owners’ permission. However, I also made the furniture for the Hummusbar restaurant in the Allee shopping centre, which anyone who is interested can visit.
Some photos of the restaurant furniture can also be found in my gallery, which you can view immediately by clicking here.
